Cavite Suppliers Show Off Creativity and More at Kasalang Filipino sa Imus 2015

Cavite has always been among the most favorite destinations for weddings. Apart from the famous Tagaytay City, other parts of Cavite have become a go-to place for couples who want to take a break from the busy city life without having to travel really far. This is perfect, to begin with. Apart from its lovely and accessible location, Cavite is also a melting pot of talents.

These talented wedding suppliers convened and flaunted their skills during the Kasalang Filipino sa Imus 2015. The wedding fair, which happened at the Ayala District Mall from July 31 to August 2, featured over 45 exhibitors. Each of them had cleverly designed booths.

For three days, suppliers entertained couples who were interested in their products and services. They also gave special discounts to everyone who booked them during the three-day fair.

Competitions also spiced up the event. On the first day, Tupperware Weddings: A Wedding Table Presentation Competition was held. Contestants came up with creative wedding table setups using Tupperware products.

Hoonigan's Catering bagged the Most Creative Award after getting the highest score from the juries. The group took home P25,000 worth of Tupperware products and a certificate. Judging was based on the criteria set by the sponsor.

Other participants in the said event were Foristzette, Captain's Sweet Gallery, and ZRM events.

Meanwhile, The Event Central by Anna Winstel got the Most Popular award after getting the highest number of Facebook likes and ballot votes. The team also received P25,000 worth of Tupperware items, plus a certificate.

On the second day, Gandang Pinay Bride: Bridal Makeup Competition took place. Amateur and professional bridal makeup artists showed of their makeup application skills using Ever Bilena products.

The three-day affair ended with an awarding ceremony on Sunday night. Stat Events and Trends got the Most Liked Wedding Supplier award. The company's personalized banner got the most number of Facebook likes.

Chris Bautista Events won the Best Booth Award while Shuttersteve Photography was proclaimed as the Top Booker awardee for getting the highest number of booking throughout the event. Make-up by FJ Mejia Oclarino and Joel Faller The Floral Artist got the second and third places, respectively.

A raffle draw for the couples and guests took place as well. Lucky winners received beauty gift packs, home items, and hotel or honeymoon gift certificates.

Kasalang Filipino sa Imus is the third leg of the Kasalang Filipino national wedding and tourism fair roadshow. Other participating cities are Angeles, Davao, Subic (Olongapo), Cagayan de Oro, Bacolod, Baguio, Manila, Lucena, and Dumaguete.

It was made possible by local sponsors, such as The Orchard Golf and Country Club, Blanco's Catering, Artuz 101 Professional Lights and Sounds, Joel Faller The Floral Artist, Cavitex, and Cavite Expose (local newspaper).
